It was a story my father read to me often when I was younger, I grew up a huge fan of Shel Silverstein’s poems, stories, music and art. To me, The Giving Tree in particular was always a pretty important story to give whole-heartedly to the ones you love, and eventually it will come back to you. At the same time I always felt like it reflected a part of my personality, but I won’t get into that haha.
